Klyde Warren Park
Enjoy a spot of nature and fun at the Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, Texas. It is 100% free to use, open from 6 AM to 11 PM every day, and easily accessible from all parts of the city. The goal is to provide a beautiful and safe place for individuals and families to come and get some fresh air for a while.
To the first-time visitor, this park may seem like any other in a major metropolitan center. However, the five-acre Klyde Warren Park is actually a marvel of engineering and imagination. Instead of having just another swath of concrete near the freeway, this portion was reclaimed for the people and transformed into a grassy, tree-lined spot of nature and fun. It is right across from the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center and a convenient stroll away from restaurants and other points of interest.
High atop sturdy concrete pillars and the road below, this deck supports over 300 trees, gardens of native plants, picnic areas, playgrounds, and paths stroll along with your family and friends.
